Ceremonies in Tribute to Marcel Proust on 18 November

To mark the 100th anniversary of the death of Marcel Proust, the Société des Amis de Marcel Proust et des Amis de Combray held two simple ceremonies yesterday: laying a bouquet of flowers at 44, rue Hamelin, where the writer died, then at the Père Lachaise cemetery, at his grave, in the presence of representatives of the Proust family, the Ministère de la Culture and the city of Paris.
