Classical Music Concert Organised by SAMP

To mark the 2022 Journée des Aubépines, the Société des amis de Marcel Proust is organising, for the first time in its history, a classical music concert in the church of the town of Illiers-Combray, which inspired Marcel Proust in writing Combray, the opening part of À la recherche du temps perdu.

Performed by the Quatuor Zarathoustra, made up of four talented young musicians distinguished in various national and international competitions (Thomas Briant, Aïko Okamura, Héloïse Houzé, Eliott Leridon), the programme consists of two works from the repertoire: Beethoven's quartet no. 14, as well as Haydn's quartet opus 76 no. 3, known as the Emperor.

Further information about the concert's content is available in the concert programme.
