Lecture by Annick Polin – A crossed journey through Literature & painting, Proust and Venice, « Voyage en Italie avec le narrateur proustien »

Annick Polin, a graduate (agrégée) in classical literature and certified in Art History, was in charge of educational outreach at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Caen from 2003 to 2009. Since 2011 she has been giving courses and lectures as part of the Université Inter-Âges de Basse Normandie. Using a slideshow that she comments on, she offers "Crossed Journeys", in which literature and painting, musical and/or cinematic extracts, echoing one another, give both the general public and more knowledgeable audiences not only information, but also aesthetic emotion.
