30 November - Members' Autumn Day

TanteLonie

On 30 November 2019, the members of the association des Amis de Marcel Proust will gather at Illiers-Combray for their traditional autumn day.

This day will notably be an opportunity to take one last look at the Maison de Tante Léonie before the renovation works close it off for several months. Madame Elodie Massouline, of the Conseil départemental d'Eure-et-Loir, together with Monsieur Loïc Richalet, heritage architect, will kindly explain to us the works that will be carried out.

We will also have the privilege of welcoming, on this occasion, Monsieur Jean-Yves Tadié, who will give a lecture linked to the publication, on 14 November, of his new book by éditions Gallimard: "Marcel Proust, croquis d’une épopée".

As usual, this day will be rounded off with a lunch, held this year at the restaurant "La Madeleine d'Illiers" opposite the church.

The detailed programme for the day is as follows:

- 10.30am: Welcome
- Morning: Presentation of the works planned at the Maison de Tante Léonie by Elodie Massouline (Conseil départemental d'Eure-et-Loir) and Loïc Richalet (architect)
- Lunch: restaurant "La Madeleine d'Illiers", opposite the church
- Afternoon: Lecture by Jean-Yves Tadié on his book "Marcel Proust, croquis d’une épopée", published on 14 November
- Refreshments
- Around 5.30pm: End of the day

The price is 42 euros per person.

You may pay for your participation online below, either by HelloAsso or by Paypal.

We very much look forward to welcoming many of you to this Proustian day.
