The Seven Lessons of Marcel Proust by Laurence Grenier

Proust pour Tous:
THE SEVEN LESSONS OF MARCEL PROUST

les sept leçons à COMBRAY

Drawing on extracts from À la recherche du temps perdu, offering 7 precious life lessons, Laurence Grenier will take you, in 7 stages, through the 7 volumes of Marcel Proust's masterpiece, through a reading of her book: Les sept leçons de Marcel Proust.

Laurence Grenier, drawing on her experience as a "Proustian" and on a few accounts gathered from others like her, shares the 7 lessons she draws from the Recherche, and offers the public, whether a fan of Proust or not, a reader of Proust or not, these simple recipes for living a fuller, "multiplied" life.

First session, open to ALL, on Saturday 7 November 2020 at 10.30am, at the tourist office of Illiers-Combray (Eure-et-Loir), 5 rue Henri Germond.
The other six sessions will be held every other Saturday at the same time: 21 November, 5 December, and so on.

The book Les sept leçons de Marcel Proust will be on sale during the readings. Its purchase (€12) will allow you to take an active part in this original discovery of the great writer's work.

Recommendation: lunch on site after the presentation, then a visit to the maison de Tante Léonie, and to the many Proustian sites of Combray and its surroundings.
