Publication of the "Proust 150" anthology, to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Marcel Proust

To mark the 150th anniversary of the writer's birth, 150 members of the Société des amis de Marcel Proust each selected an excerpt from his work, explaining in a few lines the reasons for their choice. The resulting anthology offers a broad panorama of what his readers appreciate most, notably the sensitivity, the humour, the philosophy of life, the reflections on art or on memory. For those already familiar with À la recherche du temps perdu, this collection offers a vast map allowing them to situate their own reading in relation to that of other admirers; for others, it shows one hundred and fifty possible paths into the incomparable Proustian universe.
