Followed by "Aux sources de la Recherche du temps perdu". Texts transcribed, annotated and presented by Luc Fraisse, professor at the Université de Strasbourg.
With this collection of entirely unpublished short stories and various texts, we go back to the sources of the Recherche du temps perdu.
In the years when he was drafting the novel that would become Jean Santeuil, Proust, then in his twenties, wrote short works of fiction, each a sketch in which one can already glimpse the characters, situations and reflections that would mark the Narrator's social career, emotional life and spiritual development, from his childhood in Du côté de chez Swann to the illumination of Le Temps retrouvé.
