Reopening of the Maison de Tante Léonie - Musée Marcel Proust

At the proposal of the Société des Amis de Marcel Proust and following a favourable opinion from the mayor of Illiers-Combray, the préfète of Eure-et-Loir has authorised the reopening of the Maison de Tante Léonie, from Friday 15 May. Come and see us if you are within 100 km, it is an opportunity to visit this dwelling, which has kept "its nineteenth-century atmosphere", and to discover a thing or two about Marcel Proust!

This reopening, limited for the time being to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 2.15pm to 5pm, is accompanied by the following measures:

- No guided tours, capacity limited to 10 people, masks and hand sanitiser gel provided.

The reduced rate will apply without conditions, and residents of Illiers-Combray are admitted free of charge.
