The Semaine des Arts & Médias is a multidisciplinary event organised by the UFR Arts & Médias of the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle.

In its 5th edition this year, it will take place from 9 to 13 March 2020.

The Semaine des Arts & Médias places particular emphasis on students' practical work and achievements as well as the dynamism of its programmes in terms of educational innovation, international reach and partnerships with the economic and professional world. Considerable importance is given to events with a strong scholarly dimension, reflecting the wealth of research carried out within the UFR, at the crossroads of the arts, culture, communication and media, aesthetic and artistic approaches, and approaches drawn from the humanities and social sciences.
Lastly, it aims to be a place of encounters, exchange and debate open to the whole community of the Université de la Sorbonne Nouvelle (students, doctoral students, teachers, teacher-researchers, administrative and technical staff) as well as to the wider city.

The UFR Arts & médias covers a very rich field of teaching and research.
Made up of four teaching departments, it develops its research fields within five scientific laboratories and the doctoral school 267 Arts & médias.
Taking a strongly interdisciplinary approach, it offers programmes in cinema and audiovisual studies, communication, media, the history and theory of the arts, cultural mediation, the performing arts, and theatre and stage arts. These programmes lead to a very wide range of professions, in close relation with the professional worlds of institutions, businesses and cultural bodies.
